Pop-up Putts – Mini Golf Rules
Please read before you tee off!
Teeing Off
Choose your putter and ball, then head to Hole 1. Place your ball on the tee area when it’s your turn. Take a small swing—this isn’t the 1st tee at St Andrews! If it’s not your turn, please stand clear. Play at your own risk and take care not to hit (or be hit by) anyone else.Stay in Bounds
The course is outlined with white edging. If your ball goes “out of bounds,” return it to where it left the course and add a one-stroke penalty.Stroke Limit
Each hole has a six-stroke limit. If you reach six shots, pick up your ball and record a 6 on your scorecard. We call it the Mercy Rule.Follow the Course Order
Start at Hole 1 and play in sequence—no skipping ahead or cutting in!Ball Near the Edge?
If your ball rests close to the white edging, you may move it one ball’s width away for a cleaner putt. No penalty.Use the Putter Only
No feet, hands, or other tricks allowed—only the putter may touch the ball (except under Rule 5).Wait for the Ball to Stop
You must wait until your ball has completely stopped moving before taking your next shot.Finish the Hole
Putt your ball into the white cup to complete the hole. Count and record your strokes on the scorecard.Keep Score
Add up your strokes as you go. If you’re among the top 10, add your total to the magnetic leaderboard! The lowest total score wins. Ties can be settled with a sudden-death play-off.Most Important Rule — Have Fun!
Mini golf is all about laughter, friendly competition, and creating memories. Be a good sport, cheer each other on, and enjoy the game!
